Launched in 2003 by label boss and DJ-producer, Ben Watt, the award-winning Buzzin Fly Records (Best Breakthrough Label at House Music Awards 2004) has quickly established itself as one of the key benchmarks on the current underground House scene. After scoring
early successes with releases by Watt himself, Rodamaal and Justin Martin, 2006 has been a vintage year for the label. Unique releases from artists such as Darkmountaingroup, Ame, Jimpster, John Tejada and Abyss have united DJs and crowds on both the soulful and minimal sides of the scene. Buzzin Fly throws regular label parties at London residencies at The End and Plastic People, and many of their artists tour regularly.
